Cardiovascular Technologist
SUMMARY
The Cardiovascular Technologist is a certified professional who assists in the performance of cardiac catheterization and other related procedures. This individual will perform tasks that include, but are not limited to the following: surgical scrub assistance, monitoring of hemodynamic and physiologic data, performance of basic radiologic procedures and associated clerical tasks involved within the department.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or Cardiovascular Technology and certification in the field and/or Baccalaureate Degree in Science
- Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Current American Heart association Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Experience in a Cardiac Catheterization lab or Angiography lab preferred
