SUMMARY
The Vice President (VP) of Critical Care is responsible and accountable for administrative, organizational, clinical, operational and educational leadership for the Department of Critical Care. The Department consists of Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, The Burn Center: The Wound Center, Intermediate Care, Telemetry, and the Care Initiation Unit. The VP serves as a positive role model and sets the tone for the Departments reputation and performance. The VP provides 24/7 leadership and management in the areas of customer satisfaction, provision of safe & effective care, finance, human resources, communication, patient advocacy, performance improvement / quality of practice , and leadership & professional development
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse required
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing Required; Masters in Nursing or Health/Business related field required
- Minimum of 6 years of nursing experience with 3/6 progressive nursing leadership experience required
