JOB SUMMARY:

The Revenue Cycle Applications Specialist will report to the VP of Revenue Cycle, supporting the Epic Resolute Hospital billing, Epic Pro Fee billing Single Billing Office, CDM, charge router and Claims. There are also several Real Time/Batch Outbound/Inbound Interfaces and “Bolt On” Applications that need to be supported. The position will, also be responsible for the maintenance of the programs used to monitor the charity write off for Fulton and DeKalb counties. The position will also assist Revenue Strategies with programming of Bots and Artificial Intelligence (AL) needed in the department.

Responsibilities will include the programmer/analyst support and enhancement of the above Epic modules and associated applications.

SKILLS/CERT/LICENSES:

Required:

HB/PB Admin Certified

Epic HB/PB Claim Certified

Strong technical skills needed, including programming, systems analysis, and design and testing. 

Has a thorough understanding of application development, including analysis, coding, testing, project management, and project life cycle methodologies.

Ability to understand the work environment and competing and shifting priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals.

Ability to be flexible, versatile and adaptable in day-to-day activities conducted in a multi-site environment.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in math, computer science or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Five (5) or more years of revenue cycle experience.

Five (5) or more years of experience with Epic.
