SVP/Chief Acute Care Surgery - mc
SUMMARY:
The Chief of Acute Care Surgery, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, major responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery Services as well as operational leadership for Trauma Surgical Subspecialty Services including program development, protocol implementation, and quality assurance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.).
- Seven (7) or more years of post-fellowship clinical experience across the broad spectrum of Trauma and Critical Care; and qualify for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
- Preferred qualifications include: prior experience in administration of clinical and educational programs, demonstrated leadership in trauma and critical care at the national level, expertise in minimally invasive and/or complex surgeries.
- Board certified or eligible in general surgery (or equivalent).
